Please come with me now as I guide you through eye and mind opening experiences, new emotions and startling insights about yourself.

And most importantly - Please have Fun!

Alright, let's start this exciting journey right away. If needed, please scroll down the web page a little on your screen so you can see the following short text together with the graphite drawing below it.

Now if you look at this drawing, what do you see ?

It is a landscape with a little lake and old, bare tree trunks. You have a grassy area on the right side of the drawing and there's also some grass growing in the water.

In the background you see a little hill with some trees on the right.

Sit back now, relax and watch the drawing for a minute or two and see if you can find one or two details that you like.

What was it you found ? Was it a pattern in one of the tree trunks? A face? Was it something in the water, a reflection maybe?

I cannot know what it is that you found. There are many wonderful details in this drawing. But what you did, was making your first step in "moving inside" a drawing. You saw a little bit of the world inside that drawing. You got a little closer to it.

Do this again if you wish. See if you can find more details, or move on to the next step.

For this next step I chose part of the big tree on the left side of the drawing and magnified it.

As you look at that tree you can see where the bark opens up on two spots. Its the dark shapes on the right and a little to the front of the trunk.

Now try to imagine how deep that opening might be. If you're not sure of how deep it is, put your hand inside one of the openings. Try to feel your way around and inside those openings with your mind just like you would with your physical hand.

Feel what's inside the opening, feel the bark on the outside and on the inside. Feel how smooth the surface is. Feel if it is cold or warm. Feel if there's something going on inside those openings.

If you keep doing this for a few minutes you will be amazed about the wonderful results. Just keep going please, even if you don't feel anything in the very first minute. Then move on to the next step.

Did you feel something? I'm sure you did.

What were you feeling inside the bark? Did you feel a birds nest with many twigs carefully put together, maybe with the little babies inside, grabbing your fingers because they were eagerly awaiting their mom with some food? Did you maybe feel a little flower growing, making its way to the sunlight? Some moss growing in there? Was it warm from the sunlight?

Whatever you felt, it was the first step to opening your heart to invite your inner most being to come to the surface.

First you saw the drawing with only your eyes, now you felt it or part of it.

You can do that as many times as you want and with every drawing or painting or any other kind of art you like. With every time to open your eyes and your heart for a detail inside a drawing you also open up to get to know yourself a little more.

From now on, you will never look at art the same way you did before.

Those feelings you have created with only using your mind are the true you. Watch those feelings, catch them as they flow by. They are the most beautiful feelings you have. These feelings make you happy, and this is what we are all supposed to be in our life - happy. Am I right?

And now you know how to create and recreate those feelings.

If you allow me, then I would like to take you deeper now into those feelings and insights with the next picture. This time it is the right part of the picture with the grassy area. Before you sink into the drawing let me ask you these questions please: What would you do if you were at that place? Would you have a picnic between the trees, sitting in the grass on a blanket, some food in your basket, a nice bottle of wine? Can you feel the temperature in the area? Its sunny, its warm, just as warm as you like. Birds are quietly singing somewhere, a fish jumps out of the water. Hear the noise it makes, the splash. Hear it in your mind.

Or would you be sitting in the grass and leaning on one of the trees, reading a book or quietly watching nature? The water as it is rolling against the shore, maybe a heron talking to you, a butterfly visiting - can you hear him?

Make this place your own and do whatever you would do if you were there right now. Take as much time as you need to do this, before we move on to the next part of your personal journey.

I hope you had an absolutely magnificent time in that little spot!

What you experienced this time, was the expansion of your sense for hearing. If you do that a couple of times you will notice that you become much more aware of what you hear in your environment, just like what you see and feel will change. It will get much more intense the next couple of days and weeks. Just remind yourself on noticing it every now and then and you'll know what I mean in no time. It is a beautiful experience.

Also, if you hold on to those feelings and if you would like to be able to do drawings like this by yourself, I can promise you that you will be able to produce your own drawings if you wish in short time. All you need from now on is a little help with the basics of shapes, light and shadow and everything else will come to you easily.

Drawing as a hobby can give you a lot of joy. You can express yourself - your inner self and in any way you want. You can see the beauty in this world and bring it on paper. And if you want you can bring joy to millions of people out there. Isn't it a wonderful thought to bring joy and happiness into peoples lives. That is my personal passion. Why not let it be yours as well?

And far more, if by now you haven't found it already, you will definitely find yourself and your soul. You will find out who you really are and what your purpose is on this earth. The more often you look at drawings or paintings or any other kind of art in this way, the deeper inside yourself your journey will lead you.

This will also happen whenever you look at objects in your environment. If you look at a flower growing in your garden at this deeper level that you've just learned, that flower will change into something even more beautiful than it is for you already.

And not only the flower, any kind of object. A building, food, cars, animals and eventually people.

If you want to go even deeper inside the drawing, and yourself, then go back to that lovely spot now and try to find out if you can smell or taste something. Smell the water or try tasting the bark. I'm sure you will be surprised how easy that has become for you now.

And whenever you feel ready please let me take you even deeper.

For the next step I want to ask you to look at the complete drawing below again. What do you see now? What details do you see, how does it make you feel?

Can you see and feel the area in its entire being, the weather, the humidity, the animals that come by to visit every now and then, the life in the water and in the sky? Can you feel how they feel?

Can you feel the vibration of the area?

With seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting and smelling all this and bringing it together in your mind you will bring that drawing to live. Right in front of your eyes.

Enjoy your creation and then please follow me to the last part of your journey.

Alright, here we are. I hope you have enjoyed your journey so far.

What we are going to do now is to really reach for the soul. The innermost part of ourselves. Our true being and our possible purpose here on earth.

I'd like you to read the following poem please. First read it in its entirety and once you feel and understand it in your very own liking and way, start choosing single parts and try to relate them to what you find in the drawing.

Then please follow me one last time.

The level of the surface, rises and falls with time,
the water makes adjustments like the rolling of the tide.
The trees become the score taker, with the rings on the bark,
marking various levels as the water stops and starts.
Poem by Mojo Risin'

When you read the poem, what did it tell you? Did it tell you about things that were happening in that area? Did it tell you something about forces or something about time?

I would like to choose that part in the poem where it tells us something about time:
"The level of the surface, rises and falls with time"

If you look at the trees and see that they have no leaves anymore and see that they were  almost completely under water for quite some time what do you think? Would you think that their soul is still there?

You can feel their soul if you open up your mind and heart. No matter how old those trees are and whatever happened to them, their soul resides. Feel that vibration of their soul. It is talking to you. It still tells you about their beauty. Wouldn't you agree that these tree trunks are extremely beautiful? No matter what force was used on them?

They are still beautiful. And their soul is still there. It is timeless. An infinite being. Just like your soul.

If you want to find your soul you must go to that place of no time. The place without words. To the gap between the words. This is where you can find your soul. Sit back and relax after you had this wonderful journey through your senses inside yourself. Stop thinking, have no more words in your mind and let your soul emerge in that silence.

And once you found that connection with your soul it will tell you about your purpose here on earth.

I hope you had a most wonderful journey together with me. You were experiencing some of the most profound feelings and thoughts that I have when I work on one of my drawings.

It is like living in a different world for a while. A world that, as I believe, is timeless, loving and can be brought into this reality - if only we desire it enough.

One last thought: What is time? Is it an illusion?

Time is a mental thought created by us humans. Time is nothing we can touch, feel, hear or sense in any other way. Time is only happening in our mind as a continuous sequence of events.

Physicists say: "As far as we can tell, time is a one-way process; it never reverses, even though no laws restrict it."

Does that mean, since there is no law that restricts the reversal of time, that we can actually reverse it?

I'll leave you with this thought for now.

With all my love.

Llana Neal
